If someone lost something with 200 digital games, they would have legal action against the platform holder that banned them. Banning someone from online play is different and does not require that they prevent you from accessing any of your legally purchased games.

Couple of obvious solutions to digital game libraries and online gaming. 1. Make it illegal for companies to ban users from accessing they games they have digital rights to. If it’s an online component that is restricted permanently or for a length of time that’s ok. 2. Completely separate the account that buys the games from the account that is used to interact online, maybe they can be linked, but online activity has no bearing on the users offline access to digital content. Its a free market, the better sellers like GOG will win out in the end if the others don’t play fairly

If you want to check if your sealed switch games have the card in them, without opening it, (in case you're giving it as a gift) you can hold the case up to the light and look through the clear side where the opening of the case is. I can usually see the card in the slot. I started doing this after the first time I heard someone ordered a copy of Mario Odyssey and the game was sealed, but the game card was missing

Former Nintendo merchandiser here... This is not a factory issue. During the pandemic, we had a ring of criminals in Ohio who purchased a significant quantity of games and returned them to a number of stores in the area. It was always a different store from the one purchased. For example, they would buy them from a Cleveland Best Buy and return them at a Columbus Best Buy. Anyway, they used a black marker to color the card slot and used a resealer to rewrap the game case. They got greedy after Metroid Dread was released and got caught after I connected the incidences and got Best Buy, Target and Walmart to coordinate.

Worked at a Walmart in the late 90's/early 00's. Bought Sega Bass fishing for the DC and opened the game before I left to read the instruction booklet, found no disc in the case. Went to go exchange it and they called over a manager that had just gotten to the store a few weeks prior, so we didn't really know each other. He quickly told me to just go back to electronics and get another one. While thanking him for not assuming I was stealing, he told us that at his old store people were buying games and movies, removing the disc and resealing it at places like CD Warehouse. There was a CD Warehouse in the shopping center where we worked.

I asked for and received the 4:30 movie 4k steelbook collection and received a dvd case that looked like someone printed out the little insert. It wasn't cut straight and overalled just looked bad. There was a disc inside, but it wasn't perfectly circular. It had a few jagged edges and the label on the disc looked to be poorly printed and glued on. It also didn't work. It was shipped and sold from amazon.

Maybe Halo should be 3rd person. It would probably help the game be successful with a change. You really only see Master Chief in cutscenes. The change would be new and innovative for the franchise's campaign.

The reason the halo content leaked was because the digsite team was treated so poorly and slaving away on content that 343 never helped with and took most of the credit for without give the digsite team any compensation. Microsoft is really craping the bed

Honestly with AI imagery they need to have a watermark showing its ai generated and what ai generated it. It then goes into vetting system to make sure it isn't infringing on trademarks or copyright once vetted you can purchase the nonwater marked
