Kudos for all your effort to help these beautiful furbabies. I wish more people would follow your lead and take action. Here in Illinois, USA, we have a program called TNR (trap, neuter, release). There was one lady who set traps with food to catch strays to be spayed/neutered, and ended up being arrested by the local PD, because of a city ordinance that prohibits feeding stray animals. I don't understand how doing a service that helps curb the population of strays could be considered a crime. Thank you for what you are doing. Hugs from the USA. 💕

here in USA, during the procedure we cut off the ear tip of community cats that have been spayed and neutered as a way of communicating that they have already been fixed. if the “cone of shame” fails, an old infant onesie can be modified and worn by Bella if she is still trying to lick her incisions; she’ll probably freeze in fear if that is donned too… i’m sure it wasn’t easy to nurse them through recovery but thanks for your efforts! you’re both good humans.
