I really think the Road Trip setup will be great few installments to watch. Its kind of like a living with the car scenario. Honestly something the Flexus might excel at! Will the swapped e39t have cruise control issues? Did the Lexus get TERRIBLE mpg with the supercharger? Ride quality, nvh, actual reactions from the public, and just the pure enjoyment! I really think it’ll be a great segment to watch!

I`m in the middle of 2.5 R6 m52b25 swap to my e39 wagon using m50 intake manifold and schmiedmann equal lenght exhaust manifold. Aiming for 200+ HP with proper DME tuning. I`m really over the moon with it, cant wait to finish it up. But then I heard your M5 dyno GROWL and I realised that nothing beats a V8... So next thing on my bucket list is a healthy 540i. Thank you Speed Academy

Are you going to stay with the Tom’s tune or are you able to customize it to get the fuel issue cleaned up a bit?
@quantumauto94213 жыл бұрын
we already customized it a litle bit, but the changes were too conservative considering the original tom's tune was for a m90 and not a m112. We are adding more fuel based off of their results and sending them the updated ecu.

I'm a second generation LS 400 owner, and never cared much about the LS 430's body style until this stealthy black one caught my attention. I guess the color makes all the difference. I want to do that SC in a 95 LS. What a sleeper Lexus.

Maybe you guys should throw some PPE headers on the Lexus? I know the exhaust manifolds on these cars are very restrictive.

@joannaatkins8223 жыл бұрын
Fantastic results all round, I'm looking forward to seeing future mods and work! We all guessed that the beemer would have MOAR POWAH but 70hp before a retune is really good stuff. I'm guessing a standalone or piggyback ECU for the lexus and a smaller pulley, not to mention more fuel pump and injectors ;) I'm pretty sure these engines take to forced induction really well with the right supporting electronics (Just ask Al from the skid factory)
