I talked to an ex POBOB yesterday and mentioned that you called it Bloomingdale and he laughed, that club is still in existence over in Bloomington, Ca. All the old Berdoo 81 that I talk to agree that it was in the 50's when the club started. I like how you said it doesn't matter because here they are today. Very interesting channel sir, keep them coming.

I have grown up in the Chicago area, and as a rider I knew some guys in some clubs. I was told by some older guys in a club from here that The Outlaws is the oldest club, but The POBOBs were the first to wear a diamond. The Hells Angels were the first to consolidate various chapters under a unified organization. Just what I hear.
@slowburnritual30552 ай бұрын
Not exactly. The HA were first to wear diamonds and 1% diamond. The club you speak of was a club but not an MC and started wearing the 1% in the 60’s.

As someone born in 1957 in San Bernardine Ca, and grew up in the town next to it call Railto I saw the HA a lot and would like to know when they change the bottom rocker from Berdoo too Californian. In high school me and my friend would go and Cruz E st, and one of are first stop we would go to was McDonald's on E st now this was the one that Ray Kroc built to run McDonald bother out business because they had the big M down the street. On Fri, and Sat, night we would see about 6 to10 Hell Angels at McDonald's they were always there. Same parking spot every time . I never herd about any trouble with them. We would see them Cruz up and down E st, later in the night.

Before joining the service in the early 70s wearing a 1% diamond wasn't a big deal, after i got out years later, it was. Back in the day there were groups of bikers that wern't part of a club, but would ride and do shit together, and MCs would respect these groups, like " you don't want to "F" with those boys from ... ! It's sure a lot different now.

George, I think it's amazing about how the club came together, the history. Just so cool. AFFA!!!

Are you familiar with the Netflix series Aquarius? It’s about Manson and the detective (David Duchovny) who took him down. In the series there’s a biker who’s always around Manson at the ranch. I wonder if it’s supposed to depict Danny DeCarlo? Very interesting. Also did Manson frequent any 81 parties back in the 60’s.
@russblack4432 ай бұрын
Detective's didn't take down Charles Manson 😂. Susan Adkins and her big mouth did. LAPD and LCSO WHERE bumbling idiots that had no idea what happened and who did what

can you touch on the bogus sgv angels sonny said he shut down and them turning into the mongols? i know alot of those early clubs used to make their own jackets and just decide to be angels, and if these guys had done it 5-10 years earlier with out chester green they may have made it into being official. also can you talk about how the angels and alot of other clubs like heathens ended up losing so many places like venice or south gate, places where early news reports of angels living that now mongols territory, was that because of them or other pressure like police or in fighting that allowed them to oppertunistically fill a void left by angels leaders neglegence like the 50 mile rule that other clubs didnt have to follow so they could claim cities where they dont have clubhouses like street gangs.
