Big Stick Foreign Diplomacy brought to us former President Teddy Roosevelt. Tenants 1. Have the capability to strike. 2. Act Justly to All Nations/People 3.Never Bluff 4. If you must Strike, You Must Strike Hard. It is not the violence that sets a man apart. It is distance he is prepared to go.. 5. Allow your adversary the option of Saving Face when defeat for them is at hand.

How often does the striker accidentally land a blow on the hands of the blocker? In a real fight, seems like a good way to disarm your opponent.

@spinmaster0
@spinmaster0 2 ай бұрын
There has to be a legitimate use for carrying them. If you are geared up to go camping and you have a bushcraft knife, or you are carrying a stick and you have martial arts attire, you can argue your case more easily. Appearance is important - act and dress like a normal civilian. If you are dressed like you just shopped in Sports Direct and walk with a swagger, and police happen to stop you, you are pretty much asking to get stopped and searched!

Sadly that blade is not legal in the UK. It must be a non-locking, folding blade of less than 3”, and you still need a decent reason to be carrying it in public in the UK. Makes little sense, but that’s the law
@andrewmcgleish61

@@flashsgarageYou don't need a reason to carry a sub-three inch, non-locking, folding knife. You do need a reason for a knife that doesn't fit that description.

@Cole205 almost every martisl art in history before the modern era was concerned with defense against weapons. Weapons teach movement. If you don’t see the need for education, that’s fine. Do what you will.
