Speakers and seat divider in a classic Mustang. Jade part 83.

In this video, I show the speakers I bought to put in the 68 Mustang. I also install the metal seat divider from NPD. Things are moving along with the Mustang build.

Lookin good. I installed one of those metal dividers in my 67 as well. Those hooks were for the jute insulation at least it was on mine. They were bent so they faced up and the jute hung from them.

There should have been a fiberboard piece there. That's what my Cougar has anyway. I'm replacing it with the same piece. The folks at West Coast Classic Cougar suggest exactly the install method you used.

niiice.. didn't even know they sold those block off panels/plates.. i already purchased stuff to make one.. :/ not i just gotta make a template, then plasma it out.

Do you think the block off plate will make it difficult to access the shock bolts? They kind of angle towards the back of the seat.

Yes. I thought the same thing. About impossible to access the shock bolts through the trunk. Would have to remove the back seat and the metal panel. Just an extra removal step if ever the need again to replace the shocks.

I can get to the access holes through the trunk. I don’t think it will be a problem.

@@JoDaddysGarage that's good news. I have a block off plate that I plasma cut, just second guessed my self on the shock removal.
