1. personal introduction 2. topic introduction - personal story 3. have u ever felt like that? 4. what GOD says about that issue 5. how do u apply this in your own life 6. a call to action 7. well hydrated 8. well dressed 9. use humour 10. move on stage with purpose and do everything with purpose 11. don't escalate your tone, volume 12. don't waste the time of people - don't continue speaking if you are done with the message 13. try to connect with people after the message

@Jleed989 no one fails as a speaker... you speak right? nah they failed as a listener in all honesty it's one person we all yawn at random times to get oxygen to our brains you shouldn't worry until it's a lot of people yawning he could of also been sleepy, God bless you

How to preach the word of God: I asked my best friend who is a pastor this question 2 In a half years ago.. he said honestly sis... you gotta to be led by the Holy Ghost. 1. Be in the word of God study his word 2. The word of the lord says be not anxious or think what you shall say for in that very hour I will give you what to say He told Jeremiah that I will put my words in your mouth 3. Cast down the spirit of fear 4. Flow in the Holy Spirit. That’s it!

Thanks for sharing. Im still have the fear doing public speaking in preaching. Im had my 1st Sermon where the nervous attacked me that cause im unable to give proper messages. That time, i want to try preach but i dont know how to start. That was the worst failure i ever had, since that happen, my friends left me, and they didnt even give any support. Somehow, I manage myself to get a sermon local pastor to teach me on how to preach. Btw, thanks for the tips. God bless all of us.

Any tips on practical steps one can take to improve the flow of preaching or teaching. I sometimes choke up in my trail of thought and go off topic although I have documented steps.

Yea that happens to a lot too. However, I found that if you always structure your notes the same way, then all you have to do is glance down and know where you are at. I would read the book "Communication For Change" it really helped me structure my notes.

It was not Jesus' intention for others to spread his teachings. For how can someone who does not understand Jesus' teachings, who does not believe Love is Savior, represent Jesus' teachings faithfully? And why would people try to spread teachings that are not theirs, teachings that are not fully understood by them? It is ignorance to try to do so, and further ignorance and so much harm were the result.
