Wow you studied just one week and can speak that well!? That's incredible🤩 On top of that, I guess that Japanese and your mother tongue are not similar at all. You really have a system and method in your head to successfully master a language! I have been learning Italian for these couple of years but I have never concentrated on studying it like you do🤪That's why I'm still on the A2 level 😜 Keep on focusing on learning one language and giving it all you've got is not an easy thing to do! ほんとうに すごい!この調子(ちょうし)でがんばってください!応援(おうえん)しています😁

Thanks for the comment! No, my native language is not similar to Japanese...or to any other language really. But your comment just made me realise it is actually an advantage.

Please, please, please, ensure you look into 'pitch accent' as it's vital in sounding intelligible/good and resources are laughably scarce when considering how integral it is to clear outputting of the language. If you're aware early on, it will make all the difference. Great job on constructing some Japanese sentences!

He's already done a video entitled "Pitch accent in Japanese: Why it doesn't matter (For now)".

If i create a spreadsheet and create an audio file for all the sentences, the point is not to know all the words in the sentence but just the verbs?
@NaturalLanguageLearningАй бұрын
The verbs in context in first. WIth multiple rounds of reviewing the sentences, you'll eventually learn everything else.

Mikel how many hours per day are you studying JP?
@NaturalLanguageLearningАй бұрын
@@pedrosa9283 not that much. 1-2 hours average. I should do more.
@JoedonАй бұрын
@@NaturalLanguageLearning if you consistently dedicated your entire day to studying JP, would there be a point at which your effectiveness would cap out? Like after 4 hours, 8 hours, 12 hours? Because I'm wondering at what point the amount of reviews for new words/sentences becomes unmaintainable. I'm assuming that so long as burnout isn't a factor causing one to quit completely, it doesn't really matter since you're getting those reviews elsewhere? I hate using Anki and am trying to not use it at all, just my spreadsheet & gpt convos, but am wondering if this is mistake (or maybe only matters if I'm not doing enough other practicing to begin with?).

I’m curious to see how this experiment goes! I’m working on Icelandic right now, do you have any tips for creating spreadsheets like this for languages that are less common?
@NaturalLanguageLearningАй бұрын
@jacobcaruso5010 Icelandic?why? Any particular reason? I hear more people talk about it. I'll take a look and make something for it
@jacobcaruso5010Ай бұрын
@@NaturalLanguageLearning for me it’s mostly because I’m visiting there in a few months, time will tell if I stay motivated after that haha. Luckily they have it on LingQ and there’s a few decent decks pre made in Anki

I’m going to Iceland in December and I’m generally interested in it. We’ll see if the motivation sticks after the trip lol, but luckily LingQ has support for it and there’s a few good decks on Anki
