The moment you said smoke for merc, i knew it was gona happen. You were taking a heapin damage before and you needed that upgrade. Also why that specific primary skill with penetration and no den reset

Man, I struggle to get most character to diablo on normal. Usually die to diablo to boot. Only had a couple of characters make it to nightmare though I think it's cause I'm a melee fan.

@@looter_game i have tried several times but Fend/Impale is ROUGH. I think its the worst melee in the game. But i think the fact that Zon has Charged Strike and Lightning Fury in the same tree staring at you while you click points into Impale. Lol

Great build! I am playing Impale + Holy Freeze Merc + Valk on vanilla D2 LOD right now. Quite challenging, but very fun. First I also used the Blessed Aim merc - then I realized there is a bug that BA + Penetrate do not count together. So I switched BA merc for Holy Freeze and it is much safer. Going forward very carefuly, no reruns, players 1 only and full area full clears. Currently in Hell Underground Passage. Wish me luck.
