First time trying to comment on one of these. I'm a bit of a diy when it comes to preparations... mostly because I'm too poor for anything else. I find that a "ring" of duck tape on a handle works wonders. Take the full strip, and split it length-wise down the middle, as close to even as you can manage. It doesn't matter if it is uneven, but so long as it's the same width on one end as on the other. Wrap it carefully so that each layer is as close to exactly on top of the other, no loose hanging "platforms" over the upper or lower edge. If you have to, you may need to "trim" it with a knife or blade. The result, if you wrap it enough, is that it juts out just enough to stop the handle from slipping out of your grip, but is soft enough (it's duck tape after all) that doesn't cut into your hand.

@@applesauceisgood32 It's *ok*, but it's certainly no L4D. Especially with all the DLC B.S. I will say, it does bring some interesting things to the table, like putting attachments on weapons, and the ability to ADS, but a lot of the game is kinda B.S. For free, or at least very discounted, I'd say, yeah, definitely give it a try, but it just doesn't feel as distinctive as L4D, the characters don't share the same chemistry as the L4D survivors and the special infected aren't as unique as the L4D ones, it's pretty much just multiple renditions of the same 3 special zombies; Bloater, One Arm, and Stalker. I mean, WWZ did a much better job with the special infected! Also, the worst part about it, no modding. One of the main things that has kept L4D alive after 10 years is the community, providing an endless stream of content including campaigns, characters, zombies, and weapons so that there's always new cool stuff to check out. But yeah, long story short, I get what you mean, it does just feel manufactured. It doesn't have the soul that L4D does and it never will.

Depends on the type of pathogen and how they spread If it’s airborne, like the green flu, you’d better get a full-proofed suit or preying you are an immune If not, for example, spread via bite, then you must be very careful. Or wish you be one of the immune.

No, but they can't get any at the surplus store they're supposed to be holed up in. And with how California is, the guns you might be able to find have been so butchered with "Safety precautions" Like uncomfortable grip fins, extremely small magazines, and tedious reload mechanisms that make them much more of a burden. Pistols should be ok though, depending. Rick Grimes revolver should work.

Depends on the sword! A modern machete is good. But my gladius is better. I Chop materials but mainly Stab stab stab for hours ! Even a Greek xiphos is great! A long sword depending on the type of longsword could easily clear much distance in one short controlled swing. Too many options with swords! Dont go for the typical "katana" nonsense. Weapon is too topheavy
