@Tennis305 Correct, the projector headlights light bulb harness will plug right into your stock one. However, there will be about 4 loose wires that you can tap into the parking lights. We have a video for the wires tapping.

@sydfloydpink thats how projector headlights are, your driver side will be lower than your passenger due to a small flap that blocks the beam so you dont blind traffic that are going the opposite direction. as far as your bumper gaps.. you might wanna remove it and put it back on again, you might have missed clipping alignments

@sydfloydpink There should be 2 screws behind the headlights that you can turn to adjust your beams vertically and horizontally.. hope this helps

@fairydreams7 yes we do.. no these headlights use a different size bulb. and we currently do not carry LEd tail lights for the passat

@TheRaevin I understand that sometime time can be an issue, and it is better spent doing other things. But small word of advise, please make sure that the dealer has done this type of work before, and second, that they pre test the lights to make sure everything is working properly, i have seen times where customers pay to have them removed and put back on again, cause a Halo or LED is out. @b1gmak Actually, you want to tap them to a source of light that is not your headlight bulb. Something that is also on, e.g. parking lights, bumper lights. Because the halo and the LED bulbs do not require a lot of power at all. The problem that you are having might be that; you are tapping the halo/LED to your day time running lights. Which will go off automatically at night or the headlights come on. I hoped it helped. Good luck

@espenhagen so we can remove the headlight, the bumper covers some screws that prevents us from taking out the headlight to replace.

@b1gmak Hi, find out what else goes off when your headlights come on. That way, you can tap them to a parking lights instead. The lights that you will see on with the headlight beams. I believe that is the issue your having, where the headlights go off because they are tapped to a parking light. I hoped that helped. Good luck.

Spec D Tuning I just installed a set of these headlights in first 24hrs filled up with rain water I sealed them like papers says I want you to replace these headlights or I want my money back !!! Or we can go to court

you can always swap out the halo bulbs with a brighter LED bulb

Spec D Tuning id like to know how to adjust the low beam projector on the head lamps horizontally and vertically ,not for this series of lamps but the 05 golf projectors I just got a pair and they're way off to the right and too low to see anything with. Other than that they're quite nice and even changed the led color in the halos to purple and added purple angel eyes in the projector lens and they look amazing. I didn't see any adjustment bolts but instead a big grey wheel with a long screw sticking out above the projector lens but it didnt do anything when I tinkered with it...I'm a mechanic and couldn't figure it out...help would be nice.

You can turn the whole wheel, but is that is not working you will need to turn just the screw sticking out. how do you wire the halo and angle the instructions are terrible. Am I supposed to connect them to the back and white wires on the back of the headlight harness? The lights are cool but the instructions are not clear at all for the halo and angle. Why doesn't this video cover that? ps I don't need a professional just better directions. Please advice

never mind I figured it out. I connected all the three black wires to the black wire on the back of the headlight harness with the quick connectors and then all three white to the white wire on the back of the light harness. The other video shows connecting to the hot wire of the cars wiring harness which seems like is no longer necessary since the black and white wires have been added to back of the wiring harness.

Hey Fellas, My 2005 vw pasat wagon i purchased was in a accident and because of this my headlights dont sit stable. they are kind of wobbly. Someone told me I needed to replace some type of mount or something that is cracked as a result of the accident. Something the headlights sit sturdy in. I just called your store. I couldnt get the halos on but he said to take the black and white from the halos connect them to the 2 short black and whites that are coming out of the harness then plug it into the harness coming off the car and quick connect the halos to the parking light wires.... Does that sound right?

Its a 2001 VW golf 1.8t. The lights i bought are the halos that are listed for $165.99. Theres no LED. Just the euro style halos
