Love the Q&A type videos with both of you. Thanks for sharing this.

When you spoke about letting the symptoms be there, it made me think that you guys should do an interview with Kim D’Eramo. She’s awesome. She’s a former ER doc that turned mind/body medicine practitioner.

Man I wish I was just dealing with back pain. How could that create that much fear and catastrophic thinking for 13 years? I’m not trying to say it’s not a valid reason just you’d think you’d just move on. It’s a thrown out back. I really think most of us have OCD and i think most of us qualify for a ptsd diagnosis bc of this perceived danger pain. It’s incredible how difficult and depressing it is

I thought the same. Wish he’d stop interviewing other coaches. Money.

Glad to have found this interview. Definitely following you too! Dan is awesome! Just wanted to mention that your KZbin channel name on the screen is spelled Gardiner not Gardener. :)

Even if your intentions aren't so sincere (with a subtle attitude of fixing something present) it's probably worth taking a walk outside anyway. What else are you going to do.. stay inside, in bed researching symptoms?

What do we do when we in a lot of pain? Can we do techniques like heat or somatic exercises to just help momentarily

When we are in a lot of pain do we not need caring techniques like heat or a nice hot bath to show ourselves self care
@56rosewood3 ай бұрын
Yes, Helmut calls them "coping mechanisms" which we do especially in the beginning knowing that they will be temporary as we progress.

Wow what an amazing interview. My question is since I got “fibromyalgia” pains last year, suddenly all my joints starting making ridiculous noises, cracks, snaps, pops. No pain is associated with these sounds and I know crepitus is harmless if not associated with pain however all this started when the fibromyalgia pains started due to tight muscles I suppose. I barely have the fibromyalgia pain like before but the sounds continue and now my wrists and feet crack and that never happened before. It makes me feel like my body is degenerating which causes fear. It’s been hard to get out of the loop when any movement I hear noises I never had prior. I’m only 32 so it’s not like I’m old

Hey I’ve experienced a similar thing and maybe can help with the benign sounds with no pain. What I notice now with a consistent taichi practice is these things going away. the more relaxed the body becomes the more muscles loosen and energy flow happens with healthy movement. Therapeutic gentle movement is always good for the flow of energy in the body, taichi, yoga, swimming.. etc. while not necessary for pain recovery these things have a different way of healing and enhancing our bodies.

Is it possible the sounds you are hearing are a good thing? I'm wondering if maybe things are naturally coming back into alignment.
@carolinaramos53044 ай бұрын
@@56rosewood I don’t believe it is in alignment more out of alignment. Certain movements causing noises now
@carolinaramos53044 ай бұрын
@@kylehuisman3574 thank you I will try to incorporate that. I was hoping with tms I wouldn’t have to incorporate yoga or anything unless I brought me joy not to solve the issue though. I feel like I will have to do that to fix that issue that’s the problem I’m having

What about high cholesterol could that be Tiana's my health coach says it's from poor bioflow
@carl85684 ай бұрын
It's really only the high triglycerides to worry about. Higher LDL isn't as big of an issue as it's made out to be.
