In my opinion I feel like the bench players for Ontario Christian should have gotten in the game when they was up by 30pt because you can clearly see they are a not so good team for the starters to keep playing. All I’m saying the coach should’ve gave leeway and let the bench players shine a bit in the 2nd and 3rd qtr then put the starters back in at the 4th🙂

The coach pulled majority of the starters after the 1st quarter. OC only has a 10-player roster, so I’m guessing the coach didn’t want to rely solely on the bench for the entire game and risk someone getting hurt. Plus, it’s always a good idea to have at least one starter out there for leadership.

That pg on the white deserves better than this. She actually has some skill, but due to her horribly coached team, she probably feels lost and inadequate. She has absolutely no help, no movement from teammates, no direction whatsoever. I just hope she continues playing and her skills can progress, hopefully she can find a coach and better tutelage to hone the skills she possesses. Maybe there’s others girls on the squad who are in a similar position, unable to grow efficiently due to lack of proper coaching & development. The pg just stood out to me, and I also can relate from similar experiences in the past.

When I played HS ball, I would have been on the bench after the score was up 30 points. 2nd and 3rd string players would have been in. But, then again, there was no social media then and no chance at a spectacular thumb. New ethos these days.

Actually, you can have a running clock after half time if both coaches agree. I wonder if it was even brought-up. Shoulda had a running clock after the first quarter. Terrible game to watch.,

I say the same thing cause if you see a team that’s not as good at least give your bench players some playing time for the 2nd and 3rd qtr and then put in your starters at the 4th qtr, also I don’t know how it is in diff states but coaches could definitely get fired from this type of activity…

@@love2shop1996Ranking in grade level has nothing to do with your skill, if your good your just good shi I’m a sophomore and we only have 2 11th graders on our team and they aren’t the best but the rest are fresh/soph and we dominate so it doesn’t matter it’s the coaching and the lack of faith

As a coach I would've chosen 2 forfeit than put my players thru this kind of humiliation ! Unfortunately, they don't enforce the mercy rule in basketball anymore...which makes no sense ! This was a good way 2 discourage these young ladies from wanting 2 participate in any kind of sports ever again.
