This is the best version someone has ever portrayed of such an epic story of my heritage. I am 35 yrs old , I watched this movie in 1990s on Doordarshan when I was a kid on a Sunday afternoon & I still watch this movie every couple of months when I am very happy , confused , doubting myself & not so very happy just to remind me the eternal truth. Thanks to everyone involved in making of this movie.

There have been various iterations of the Ramayana Mahakavya Itihasa be it TV series, movie or animation. Each one of them has left an indelible mark on our cultural narrative. But this particular version of the Ramayana has not only the privilege of making its mark but is also a high point of Indo-Japan cultural co-operation. The painstaking process which the makers underwent in capturing the essence of the history of Bhagavan Sree Ramachandra is certainly a masterclass in collaborative endeavour. The patience with which the Japanese producers dealt with ignorant hostile forces in our own home country is highly laudable and releasing this wonderful anime version in the face of such misplaced opposition shows the sheer devotion which they have cultivated for our historical figures. Yugo Sako, we bow our heads to you. To realize that it took Indian representatives over 3 decades to acknowledge this amazing version of Ramayana is something we should introspect.

My sincere thanks to all those heroes who made my dream come true. I am not kidding, everytime i used to watch this movie goosebumps used to come on my body, not just because of the story but because of the way it was represented in year 1992. (not to forget this movie was falsely banned in the same year for representing deities in animated way) Not to forget remarkable music of mr. vanraj bhatia. There Will be a japanese dub track option on this remaster release? It Will certainly increase sales even more, think about it kindly.
