Small tip when hauling long loads always take the turn as wide as possible you might not need it but it's better to have more room than getting jammed like you did on that RH turn.

Getting stuck on a hill with a heavy trailer is no joke. In ATS I sipped my coffee and accidentally stalled, halfway up a steep on-ramp in full size 389 Petebilt with the triple articulated 75T crane. She didn't not want to move under any circumstance. Crawler gear was barely enough, and the clutch...to hell with the clutch!! lol

My first special transport was from Munich to Innsbruck during a rainy night. Quite challenging but i enjoyed it.

15:24 I had to hill start with that sausage of doom last night. Escort stopped right at the top of a ramp, thankfully I had an 8x4 chassis and was able to raise the central steering axle to get traction. After I'd locked the diffs, she crawled right up the hill. Love my new Scania R-730. EDIT: Also, that sausage weighs 68T. Absolutely insane.

The Linköping-Kalmar route, with the Haul Truck Chassis is an epic challenge. I just did it in slippery heavy snow conditions, on an afternoon start, ending in the dark. Wow! Just wow! It's on par with the most difficult challenges on Dangerous Drives in SCANIA Truck Driving Simulator. I think that the one starting from Münich is another great route with the huge Tech Box at night, in snow. Having a lot of with this DLC atm.

Did a 55t chassis across the back roads of Norway. I don't know what frightened me most: trying to get up a hill (520 bhp Scania R) and almost missing a shift, going down a steep slope and having to jam on the retarder to not have 65t of truck and chassis taking out half the forest or having to park in one of those mining thing places and getting stuck because of the uneven terrain. Great fun.

Just in case someone has a problem like the one you had at the light. If you are driving a trailer with steering axles, you will need to know how they work to control them. When you turn right, the trailer goes left, so you cannot perform a super wide turn. If you get too close to the left border (using the scenario I stated earlier) then the trailer will not have enough room to turn and will get stuck with the barrier. You will have to open just a little bit wide but not too much to give enough space for the turning.

Nice to see Pauly gave in and changed the color of the vans. Looks way better when there is unity and order ghehe btw, when u took the boat from Brussels in your stream, you turned on the regular side of the road but the front van is blocking the upcoming traffic. I think you're allowed to use the other lanes for the first meters to get out of the business there. At least that's how I did it cause I also had one of the very long ones there and it was almost impossible to turn on the right side of the road from that business. Anyways haha see u @ SNT!

The fact you can't divert from the route is actualy VERY realistic. Specialy because all the other vehicles that help with the haul. police and other traffic controllers are already on route getting ready to stop traffic along the route. If you divert with a special cargo traffic is in danger. So it is actualy perfect..

The defect of authorization on board is liable to a contractual fine and can involve the immobilization of vehicles.

18:03 they brake like that if a traffic vehicle moves in front of them. I once had the escort vehicle stop dead for 5 seconds on a derestricted autobahn because someone ahead changed lanes. Also the shortest job possible in this DLC is Dresden-Prague, which is about 135km.

When making turns you should use all of the available space on the road I've done some tight turns for real Where you need to take up not only the lanes your in you have to use opposite side of the road because the way the turn is Call it a button hook

I use to live near a permanent special transport route where they run 2 transports every week of cargo that was 5 meters wide and 7 meters tall and a total vehicle weight of 200 tons (about 30 meters long). Its to heavy to run over bridges, and to high to run under them. So when the transport crosses a highway, they have to go down the ramp cross over the centrum divider, then up the ramp the other side. (the cargo is Gas turbines)

The support wagon is so long that its pretty much from one end to the other of the highway when turning around. At the place where it turns over its 8 lane wide, and a center bit that is about a lane wide

That's a pressure vessel which is designed and fabricated by ASME. Also, it has a high pressure and a heavy wall thickness i guess because of its hemi-type head treated by post-welding heating in furnace over 695℃ as minimum.
