I have attended a Conference where Elder Bednar spoke, and I can tell you he is very inspiring wherever you see him. He has a strong testimony of the Saviour and His work, and always speaks with the guidance of the Spirit.

the Spirit of God is a warm and beautiful feeling, an acknowledgment of the Divine, that bridges all languages, in all places, you will know the truth, when you feel Him...undeniable..

the power and authority of an apostolic witness does not replace personal daily effort in growing a testimony through daily scripture study and prayer. This voice of truth confirms what we should try and be preparing and working out in our own salvation...that said...How BLESSED we are to live in these times where so much truth, light and teachings are available through Christ's authorized Priesthood authority because of the restoration of the Gospel in these latter-days. Thank you brethren!

Hello Melody, if I may, I am a convert in the Church. I dont have a perfect knowledge of things, there are many things that if I use logic alone, everything will not look correct. Last sunday's lesson was about pride, where small issues deceived even prominent men and women of the early church become inactive but then came back with such great regret of falling away. In between agreeing and your doubting, there should be FAITH then one day you will have a perfect knowledge through ENDURANCE.

Melody the answer to doubts and skepticism is deeper knowledge. Continue to read the scriptures, the Bible and the Book of Mormon, and seek knowledge though study and by prayer.

Joseph Smith, quoting John the Revelator, indicated this gift is so important that( every “man who has the testimony of Jesus,” is a prophet, “)(for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. -Revelation 29:l0th )verse” (TPJS, p. 119) In ancient times it was thought that only a few people could be prophets. In fact, they often declared that they wanted only a certain person to be a prophet for all the people. Joseph Smith said this was a wrong concept and declared: . . . the people should (each one stand for himself, )(and depend on no man or men)( in that state of corruption) of the Jewish church-that (righteous persons could only deliver their own souls)(-applied it to the present state of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints-)said if the people departed from the Lord, (they must fall-that they were depending on the Prophet)(, hence were darkened in their minds, in consequence of neglecting the duties devolving upon themselves), . . . (TPJS, pp. 237-238) And there ran a young man, and told Moses, and said, Eldad and Medad do prophesy in the camp. Would God that all the Lord’s people were prophets, and that the Lord would put his spirit upon them! (Num. 11:25-29)

As a mormon - I can agree with many things here - however I also doubt - I have left the church and found myself back home(church) but still just dont feel the same as I use to..... Come to Az - the Chino Valley Church - you declare something - however I want to be a more of a believer and who better than a special witness of God to help me -
