Nice to see info on these guys being shared! Not a ton out there. I will ad that my Tri-color doesn’t mind being handled at all. I also know a lot of folks have difficulty feeding - mine eats like a champ. He is definitely more active in the late evening, but has been found rarely out basking in the day.

Appreciate the habitat pics and info on their habitat and range. Don't see or hear that kind of info very often.

My South American hognose "rattles" his tail at me especially when I am looking for him in his substrate. It's pretty funny and cute even though I know it means he's scared/stressed. Usually once he's in my hands he chills out though. So far I have just used coco core but next time I change it over I might combine with reptisoil but he seems very happy as is.

These guys cost too much for their lifespan up here in Canada. 😅 Their lifespan us what disqualified them for me because I bond strongly with my pets!

does Kathy love only feed pinks and hoppers or does she supplement with anything else? nice review. colorado needs to get its act together. no medical reason to outlaw x pulcher.
