Wishing doesn't change reality, but I sincerely wish I could go back to 2022. I missed my opportunity to go slowly step by step on how to complete these documents correctly and quickly. Attention to detail is so important. One of my issues with my last signing is that one of the signers said she had to get back to work and kept looking at her watch. I sped the process up and missed signatures. Lesson learned. With practice, training, and knowledge, loan signing can be a rewarding job. Thanks again for being candid about the responsibilities as well as understanding of how errors can be made.

Listen, when we start out, we make mistakes. I made so many mistakes- I look back and am totally embarrassed by it. But for the most part, people give you second chances. It is all about how you handle your errors, fixing them quickly and with the right attitude. And then yes, like you said, more training, and practice. This can be a rewarding job!

I have a question on the 1003, when there are co-borrowers- do both borrowers initial on the initial line? I ask because I'll see applications that are almost broken up into two loan apps. One singer has one app, and the other signer has the other app but are both borrowers supposed to initial the initial line every where I see an initial line? Thanks!

On the new application, it is common that there are multiple applications- one for each signer. Only the signer listed will need to initial that first page. They do not need to initial each other's applications.

Hey @Coast2coast your fees are reducing as gas prices are going up. $75 for a loan signing with scans when escrow is paying you $250/ set or loan docs. Stay woke new LSAs . Do your due diligence. That being said, great info in this video🤓

Hi Nicholas, I dont know what client you are talking about- we do not have one client who pays us $250! Our prices have not gone down, we have had our base fee be $75 for 10 years (of course adjustment going up as needed depending on the specific file). But the majority of our our clients bundle fees and our margins are 25 dollars at best. And just FYI, the prices on the SS for notary service are often padded by escrow. We havent had a client pay us $250 for a conventional refi in a LONG time- but it would be nice if they did.

This looks to be informative but it's very hard to see the document. As a suggestion, if possible - remove the people's boxes on the right during the training session - they are a distraction and make the viewing of the document harder to see, because it's really small - even when I use full screen on my 22 inch monitor, I still can't see what the document says. Also, it seems the audio isn't matching up with the video.
