Just wanted to say I wasn't sure about buying the Specta 4k mini, but mine came in today, and wow I'm beyond pleased with it and this is no sells pitch... I'm not promoting anyone, but this Lil s.o.b is a beast.. the wind was kicking ass in southeast Texas today, and I brought it up, way up and it handled like a beast... everything about it, I give it a 10 out of 10.. for real

I just sent my mini SE swimming. Tempted to get the 4K which is around $240 now on sale just today.

Battery communication failed from water. Compass, camera, controller video feed still works. Will not show battery life, so that part on board burnt out, battery dry. It was in water about 3 feet deep and kept recording but it did short and shut off after about 30 seconds. I need to upload that video. I got the footage. I don't think I will try to replace the board. So much of it looks workable like the motors.... Perhaps I could make a tiny plane out of them.

Lucky! Just got one like 2 or 3 days ago and its so funn to use but id like something else for travel i was thinking mini 4 pro but migjt go with this or the potensic atom with the fly more package

I've been running the Mini 4K for a few weeks now and it is far better than expected!! Over 6 miles away and a 31 minute flight time I really don't need anything more than that. A lot of the hiring drones do about the same anyway.

The best is as you said depended on what you want out of a Drone, the footage you shows seem awesome to me with this Specta drone and great price range. Though I started with a toy drone about 8 weeks ago, about a week later bought the Dji Mini 2 SE because that toy drone was awful and since did some research and felt the price was right for the 2 SE, while this really got me into drone's I really was missing some feature's like tracking, waypoints etc. And since 2 weeks I have the 4Pro and it's awesome. But keeping a eye on what Specta will continue to deliver.

Thats exactly what they want you to do - spend more money. Wait for the sdk and litchi will work.

@@銃翼 I know, a friend of mine still flying his DJI mini 1 and using Litchi which is amazing, I tried using Litchi on my 2SE but didn't get it to work. but TBH me crashing allot with my 2SE just made me want to have a drone with good collision detection.

Ok so i have some questions. Hopefully you see this. 1. How is tech support in trying to buy a extended warranty? 2. Does return to home truly work? I bought a dji mini 3 on sale for $320 on Thanksgiving and still dont have it. Its stuck in customs

Haven’t had to deal with tech support. I’d suggest getting extended warranty through Amazon. They farm it out to an insurance company. Much better IMO. RTH does work. Just wait for satellites before takeoff

Hey Jack, hope all is well!? Have you heard from anyone using the Android version of Specta's fly app? I haven't been able to fly for about a week and a half. It gives an error that says I have a bug and to wait for the app dev to have an update. And they disappeared as far as conversing back and fourth. After getting me in the air and a pretty big discount on the Specta Air if i wanted it. I almost pulled the trigger on about $700 for that drone but if I can't flly it on Android then it's not going to work for me and they're are no batteries available to purchase for either drone. Btw, I believe the Senate just had the DJI ban verbage removed from the bill in which it presided.

I use the app. I know it is in the process of a major update. That people will love
