That camera still amazes me. The clarity of the zoom on that one bird was something and then when it held on them flying , I couldn’t believe it. You were just holding the camera. No shake. That stabilization is something. Looked like it was on a tripod. Wow. Great footage. They are amazing. That black bird swirling was so cool. Have to see it in person. Great video 👍

I've seen a couple of the Sandhills roaming in the cherry orchards in my northern Michigan home, and they are startling to see. I look forward to seeing them en mass like that. One thing I've always wondered about massive flocks of birds, how do they manage not to crash into each other? Great video, thank you for sharing.

Fantastic video Ray! It amazed me how much noise those cranes made in the morning. I definitely couldn't sleep through that. We just finished watching a documentary about Alaska and they included a segment on the Sandhill Cranes leaving Alaska in the fall. I'm assuming from your video they are heading back north for the summer. What a treat to see that herd of javalina's! I'm wondering if they will shy away from people or are the bold enough to wander into your camping area?
@LoveYourRV5 жыл бұрын
Thanks. :) I think they are pretty shy, as we haven't seen many, though I hear they can become a problem in more urban areas getting into garbage and people's gardens.

So beautiful. Love watching your videos. Really enjoyed this one for several reasons. We're looking to get a camcorder for our KZbin channel, so we can do more Zoom closeups of wildlife. I just came across you review of the Sony Camcorder and really enjoyed it. After watching this video I think I'm sold on getting the Sony AX53. Are you still enjoying it? We love doing nature videography and really need a tool that can get up close and personal with the wildlife. The zoom on you camcorder looks amazing and it really shows in the video. Do you ever use the 4K feature or do you find the 1080p quality is just as good. This video looks amazing. Thanks for sharing. Have a Glamperrific Day! 👍❤️🌈😀🌈
@LoveYourRV5 жыл бұрын
Yes, for the money I think this camcorder was a great investment. Makes it simple I don't need to carry a DSLR camera and a bunch of different lenses. So lightweight and compact. 4K ability is just OK I find it a little too sharp and jittery, but it *really* shines for HD video the HD quality is much improved over my last one as it uses a higher bitrate and a new improved file format. Also, when using HD the stabilization and panning are much better than in 4K mode. Not only does it have the 5 axis BOSS mechanical stabilization but in HD mode it uses the extra pixels from the 4K sensor that aren't being used to help as well. When zooming in especially handheld it really helps. That way I don't need to be carting around and setting up a tripod all the time too.
