My favorite figure growing up( they all were at one point lol). But especially Two-Bad. He just knocked my 8 year old socks off. Two heads. Crazy color scheme. And endless bear hugs. Oh and punching himself in the face.

The first bad guy I knew was made of 2 people was Baron Ashura from Mazinger-z. Half the body is a woman the other half is a man. It was the creation of Dr. Hell who found the mummies of a husband and wife who had their bodies destroyed on opposite sides. In a Super Deformed anime OVA (The Chibi World of Go Nagai), the two halves punched each other until they were unconscious.

Skitzo was the name of a two head baddie from THE OTHER WORLD, Arco's line of 4" fantasy bendies. Some customizer made a half-He-man/half Skeletor two-headed figure using origins figures. Garbage Pail Kids were supposed to be gross outs.

My logic. My reasoning for Skeletor combining them is the gestalt principle. The whole is greater than the parts. A punishment he kept in his back pocket for such an occasion. I was ok with his MYP origin. Yes, it sucks we never got pre merge figures.

I can't wait for the release of the origins and Masterverse/New Eternia version of this guy. I still have mine from childhood with some of the other Horde members, one of my older brothers got me a box of Motu figures from a yardsale when I was a kid and that's where most of my He-man figures came from. I never had Skeletor or his minions but I've been making up for it with Motu origins lol. Love the chanel man, can't wait for the directors commentary on this guy as well

So the original design was one-good and one-bad, then they changed it to two-bad and named him Two-Bad. I was hoping Origins would make a non-textured two-headed torso and share it with the MOTWWEU line. MOTU Two-Bad and multiple WWE tag teams could have made good use of the tooling.

Two Bad was my favorite as a kid, though in retrospect I do wonder why they tooled him to hit the other head in the face on that figure. Granted, that did lead to my play pattern of the heads hating each other and wanting to be separated, so when MYP ran almost that exact story I was thrilled at the time.

6:45 There's a weird new Machine Robo (Japanese line that became GoBots in the 80s) line that combines two random things together like this for some reason to create a single robots. E.g., AppleLobster, TaxiTree, BeetleSteamTrain, BulldozerBurger, PlaneEraser, SharkVendingMachine. Not something I'm interested in but they do look like better toys than those Transformers "BotBots", which look like lamer versions of the McDonalds "Food Changeables", which were Happy Meal toys. I kind of felt the same way as you, to a much lesser extent, about Garbage Pail Kids. Other kids on the school bus would show me their Garbage Pail Kids collections. I found them mildly amusing, but never wanted to collect them myself. (I also thought it was lame how they would reuse the artwork and just slap a different name on it.) I do remember that I had to look away the first time I saw the chestburster scene...in Spaceballs. I think I was aware of the scene in Alien, but it was an R rated movie so I hadn't seen it. (I remember someone, maybe my mom, informing me that it was actually the same actor as in Alien, which was why he said "Not again".) Once the alien started singing and dancing like Michigan J. Frog, then I was able to look at the screen again. 8:38 What's wrong with "Dem Bones"? Was it just too silly or is it somehow offensive? (I looked up the song on Wikipedia, which seems to always have an alternate racist version of every folk song imaginable, but nothing for this one.) I understand why they changed "Sea-Man". However, it was safe enough for Disney. In DuckTales, Donald Duck is in the Navy, and is therefore referred to as "Seaman Duck".

Two- Bad has been a fave of mine since I got him when I was 3! He's been a pretty cool little figure and had some fantastic newer figures built over the years( ok just 2 more)! However I was so happy and excited with his 2002 interation. Not only because of the origin story but also the fantastic sculpt of his figure! Really wished they'd make a version of the 2 separated and great an even bigger version of them combined!

Funnily enough, I only really liked Oculus Orbus. All the others seemed to be, for lack of a better expression, "trying too hard." O.O. was just a big ol' eyeball, chilling out and being himself, while most of the others seemed to be trying to outdo each other in a frenzy of "Big Daddy" Roth-style oneupmanship. LIke those kids on the playsground who are always trying to top each other, it got a bit tiresome for me.

I think of all the characters he has the most radical change from concept art. And that's what gets me about the character. Hard to believe that what we got came from that.

There were so many things I'd've loved to have seen in Classics, but it started to run out of steam, and they never got around to them. There's a video where Scott showed off the "Road Map" of what was to be produced, and it goes a couple years past what we ended up getting. But to be honest, if I'd gotten the kind of nastiness from "fans" that they got, I probably would've pulled the plug on it a couple of years earlier.

What are your thoughts on the drama involving the Origins Wun-Dar preorder? It sold out in two minutes, then came back available about an hour later--only to have many people receiving e-mails that their order was cancelled. In addition, i am a huge MOTU fan and collector. I wish i started collecting when Classics started. I loved the line looking back at it. Origins was the first figures i started collecting as a adult and i genuinely thank you for making me feel like i could collect as a adult. Your videos about classics and MOTU opened that door for me and it has brought back so many great memories of when i was a child. It has helped with my fight against Young onset Parkinson disease and has brought joy in a time when i really needed it. It started with your videos and i can not thank you enough.

The name 'Schitzo' DID cause problems, Arco used it for a figure in their The Other World line and it got complaints and got the figure pulled, apparently. Mekaneck makes me nauseous in the same way. His helmet is ugly to the point of revulsion to me, and all I can think about when I see him is that he was surely decapitated. His cybernetic system is Robocop-level gross and sad.

The story of his origin in the Filmation series really does amount to exactly that: Man-at-Arms explains that he "hurt his neck" and so his solution to fixing him was to make those cybernetic adjustments...which would surely involve decapitation, even if done systematically and slowly in a surgical manner, ultimately...?!? Yeah, I don't think the original designers at Mattel back in the day really thought some of this through; but we weren't exactly going for realistic with any of the MOTU characters, after all. I am still disappointed to this day when I hold aloft a sword and say some power words that I don't suddenly get buff, tan, and nearly naked. :(
