I have watched your lectures from Gravity and Light. Very amazing to find you in other places.

Wow. Brilliant! So clearly explained (compared to any other) - see at min 49 [Yes you need to see and understand the first 10 lectures and his other set, but wow!]

Why is the square of the projector defined that way? At 16:00

At 1:35:20 that example is wrong because the kernel of the B is equal to phi orthogonal

At 1:11:58 , how does that the measure is nonnegative follow from the said map is Herglotz?
@ChrisRossaroGG4 күн бұрын
It follows directly from the Stieltjes Inversion Formula, by taking into account that \varepsilon>0.

So he did all this drama about the arctan to introduce a characteristic function? This is most of the time way too technical with too much formalism. There are too many long stretches where it’s hard to see the point.
@zoltankurti5 жыл бұрын
If you want a less formal introduction to quantum mechanics, there are plenty of options to choose from.

its for mathematicians or physicists that actually care about mathematical rigor
@rifathkhan99953 жыл бұрын
That’s the point of his lectures. To be absolutely rigorous.
@piercingspear29223 жыл бұрын
Super non rigorous physics lectures exist in almost all universities around the world. We all come here because this kind of lecture is rare and hard to find.
@wdlang065 жыл бұрын
the lecture is not systematic
@mathjitsuteacher4 жыл бұрын
If you watch all the first 10 you will see he is pretty systematic.
@rifathkhan99953 жыл бұрын
WTF. This is the MOST systematic lectures series I ever saw in any university I have taken courses in and in any of the online lectures available.
