@SeraphimDragon5 жыл бұрын
Take a look at the place she came from. She's basically supporting the kind of crap that's going on in her own country and integrating it into this one. I got nothing against immigrants, but I have EVERYTHING against people who support any idea/action/speech that encourages to strip away even a SLIVER of our god given right to freely express ourselves and our ideas. "Systemic" is utter bullshit. If a person profiles you based on your race, THAT person is either racist (not the group they happen to match up with), or following an unfortunately VERY accurate statistic you sadly happen to fall under. If the latter is true, you have nothing to fear because you can prove them wrong and get on with your life peacefully. If the former is true, then I'm sorry, but the REAL system already favors you if you're non-white and will punish the racist piece of shit anyway. The more people prove to others who are stuck following a negative statistic, the more that negative statistic will change for the better and will STOP becoming a statistic for people to pay attention to. But until that happens, what else are we supposed to rely on SAFELY when dealing with specific groups of people in specific situations? Our gut? The suspect's feelings? No. GUESSING gets people killed/hurt. FACTS save lives and rights.

Even actual US citizens aren’t allowed to break the law. But illegal immigrants are supposed to be welcomed with open arms?
@eeel905 жыл бұрын
@@tahsin8296 there was no law then so nothing was illegal. The colonists set everything up here made everything from law to cities to states to everything. Once law was created to keep people in check that's when people that aren't supposed to be here are illegal people can still come here legally that's not the problem just we cannot document who you are and what you have done if you are illegal that's why the crime rate is so high because they can get away with it. Imagine being an educator who refuses facts to massage her own ego driven false narrative. I'm a law lecturer from a reputable UK university and see these types of teachers more and more. It's frightening.
@huemann7637 Жыл бұрын
That means there are even fewer incentives to listen to anyone from a university. If you’re a law professor please answer this: how has the controlled substance act not been declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court on the same grounds that alcohol prohibition was declared unconstitutional? It seems like the legal system has really dropped the ball there and allowed millions of Americans lives to be ruined by an unconstitutional and ineffective policy. If you people were actually doing your jobs, that wouldn’t happen.
@PastorCarpie Жыл бұрын
@@huemann7637 Nima said, "UK university." I.e. an expert on the laws of the United Kingdom NOT the United States.
@nimascolari1508 Жыл бұрын
@@PastorCarpie thank you for the support, it's a lovey gesture. I'm actually quite well versed in the American legal system, the issues surrounding the legality of certain substances in the US stem from deeper and more insidious factors than simple laws and legislation. The US legislative process is heavily influenced by corporations and in particular the pharmaceutical industry. Even the medical industry receives massive incentives annually for prescriptions given for what other medical systems would consider unnecessary and in some cases negligent. Fentanyl being a prime example. The legislation you refer to plays a huge role in establishing a healthy supply of stock for a particular lucrative industry which I'll get into. The US constitution is in fact a corporatocracy not a democracy. No true democratic system has only two political parties who are openly funded by the same corporations. Another example of this is the privatised prison system in which it remains profitable to incarcerate citizens because they generate a double income both from prisoners as well as the free labour and manufacturing which those prisoners provide. The US manufactures millions of tools, the entire car number plate manufacturing as well as manual labour from prisoners. The industry is worth billions. Then substance abuse and misuse ensures addiction, mandatory and ever increasing health insurance which often doesn't support those addicts ensures crimes of necessity due to addiction which in turn ensures the prison system has a healthy supply of livestock and the cycle continues. Such legislation also makes sure that more laws are easier to break hence contributing towards the cycle of supply and demand which I referred to earlier. Prohibition had a different agenda and was initiated and supported by a particular group with an entirely different agenda focussing on religious ideologies and wanting to "heal" Americans from various social illnesses. Illnesses such as domestic abuse, violence, debauchery, alcoholism and financial mismanagement. The CSA is spearheaded by a completely different group of people with a far more insidious agenda at heart. Profit for various industries being the key factor.

@@ir0npichulka I have a prime example of that. My mom worked for a top in the nation Neurosurgeon. She has a high school diploma and my dad dropped out in the 9th grade but got a GED later. The good Dr (really a very nice man) was getting rid of some furniture and asked if my Mom wanted them. She said yes and arranged for us to come by his house and pick it up. We showed up with a flatbed trailer and as me and my Dad loaded the furniture, the Dr was watching, in pure amazement. At one point he addressed my Dad and said "It is amazing how you have everything fitting so perfectly on there, not a bit of wasted space! Wow, that is amazing!" That Dr pokes in peoples physical brains and spinal cords with robots, and he was amazed at how my Dad loaded a trailer. And no, that was not the Dr ragging on my Dad as he has said similar things throughout the years on other subjects. Education absolutely has little , if any, to do with a person's intelligence. I myself am a high school dropout with a GED and people, family included, are always asking me "How do you know about that? Or how do you know how to fix everything??". That last one is a question I get from my wife. Especially when I fixed one of the kids flashlight that the spring for the battery had rusted completely out to dust and I replaced it with a paperclip.

@@smokythebear1004 Yes it does seem strange that many of the most ardent SJW's are white. Why would those who have not suffered any of the supposed "systemic racism" be so fervently arguing for an injustice that they have not experienced? I think it could be an effort to show others how woke and admirable they are. My question for such caucasian SJW's would be, if you believe that this country and this society is so racist and so unfair both historically and systemically up until today, and YOU, as a white person with white privilege have benefitted from this racism, why do you personally not give up EVERYTHING you have including all money, property, and enrollments in academic institutions since these attainments were all ill-gotten according you your argument through the racism in this society; and donate it to BLM or just give it to a minority you think is deserving. there is no way she's a professor, she's just a fucking glorified TA misusing the word "faculty." being faculty is a yearly appointment which comes with eligibility for tenure aka tenure track or a contractual equivalent, but every year the staff at universities get dumber and dumber, they don't read the policies or even the fucking faculty handbook. so they are conflating the term "faculty" with "staff" because it sounds cool to call yourself faculty. in reality faculty only includes associate professors, full professors, and teaching professors, sometimes instructors in phd programs are considered faculty due to none of the above being applicable, but it definitely does not include most non-tenured, non-associate professors, let alone TAs, grad students who otherwise assist in instruction, or uh, janitors lol

Cleverly placed facts can lead to violence. So, I’m not sure what to think about this interaction. If speech doesn’t lead to violence then I suppose protests don’t lead to riots, which - they do. So idk. He wasn’t committing violence against the crowd. However, it is clear that either he misunderstood what she was saying or he was just taking control of the conversation and leading it in the direction he wanted. Honestly, I can’t tell. Liberal motives in general are hard to make sense of because it is so based on feeling. I do not fully agree with the notion that feeling should never be acted on though. But Michael is fighting for the side that is easier to make sound reasonable if you know all of the data. The problem is most people don’t know all of the data so the sacrificial lamb is often reasoning in the way of emotional action. But Michael can certainly be dead wrong on stuff. Damn back in my day when I went to a liberal arts college, I was just told on a consistent basis I would go to hell because my father was doctor, my family was well off, and because I was Jewish. I’m so glad I didn’t have to go to school today where on top of all that I would also be called a violent white supremest racist because of my skin color and political views. Maybe we should stop having liberal arts schools and make conservative logic schools a thing.

"Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me" is an expression that we teach to children. Those children grow up and apparently proclaim that "these words are hurting me" despite that they've never had a broken bone by neither stick nor stone. It's like we just don't have any value in our words anymore, and children grow up to be the biggest crybabies. People like this are the result of spending too much time online.
