I'm interested in citys speech therapy program, I'd be coming in from an unrelated field. I know you're not a professor but do you think being a teaching assistant, as well as teaching ESL would be good experience?

City gave me an offer and my main experience is ESL. Worth putting in an application IMO

I would say they are both so important. As long as you mention how it has helped you and the skills you have developed that will help you be the best SLT I think that is the most important. But like you said I am not a professor, so this is based on my experience.
