I enjoy watching Jeff Watts paint. I learn just by watching him.

I really love the fact that tthe last thing you painted were the features. I don't think everybody here on youtube knows how valuable these videos are! It'a perfect painting process! shadows transparent, impasto, knife work, drawing with a brush, painting the skull first etc.. there's everything in this video! If somebody wants to learn painting should definetly subscribe your channel and school

The eye of a master, the hand of a doctor, the grace of an angel... That's Jeff Watts

Jeff, when watching this video on speed gesture painting, I am amazed at the way, the process of creating the image becomes so alive in probably a relatively short amount of time. The initial lay-in is what I especially need to pay attention to.Preserving the Tradition of the Masters, is something that you are doing very well. Thanks for making this video.

Great video! Listening to what Jeff has to say is a huge reason for watching his videos, but this is a great way to encapsulate the method for a portrait gesture in just a few minutes. Also, it's kinda funny to see the model breathing in time-lapse... looks like he's panting :)

Great painting, but the background (bouncing shoulder) is very distracting.
