Another fun one, well done! I believe Games Workshop has been inspired by your videos as they now have 'battle ready' tutorials for their blackstone fortress models in the 'classic method' (base coat and wash, done). Or they might have gotten jealous, can't tell. ;)

I work with kids and we do a lot of war gaming as a means of therapy and what not, I recently picked up Blackstone fortress and gave each kid who was keen a model as 'homework' , the kid who got this model was upset that the 'speed' version of the painting was almost an hour. He was visably shooketh when I told him my Celestine took 1 week.

I never thought of mixing blue to the metal paint. I had always just used the metal paint and tried to get a blue hue by putting blue wash over the paint. I always got poor results. Thanks for the tip, I wish I've seen this video before I painted my Crusader.

All the big I-letters in 40k don't mean Inquisition. That symbol is the symbol of Ecchlesiarchy. I think even Adeptus Terra, Adeptus Administratum etc. have the I in their symbol. But anyway, lore-policing aside, Great paintwork and tutorial!

Don't superglue the stick used to hold the shield, the glue will be obsorbed by the wood and it it won't snap off, you will need to drill it out. Don't be like me and have to do it to 20 tau drone pulse rifles. Use a but of Blu-tak or similar poster sticky stuff.

Haha, our superglue just snaps off pretty easily, it's quite brittle. Maybe Blu-tack is a better shout :)

Could you do a space wolf speedpaint tutorial in the same type of the death guard/black legion video because it's a pretty popular space marines chapter but the painting requires many many step (because of the fur bone and gold) and i think your paint schemes look awesome

I too struggle with colour blindness in this hobby. I intentionally avoid armies like orks and ‘Nids, the green/red/flesh mixed schemes just blend into one drab mess in front of my eyes.

The only reason is speed. NMM takes quite a bit longer than regular metallic. If you're comfortable doing NMM, then go for it!

HNGGG... please, use some of your funding to get some better brushes. Your bristles are separating as you paint. No point making it more difficult for yourself.

Naaah, cheap brushes for life ;) I'm all about showing people it doesn't really matter. I've got expensive brushes, but you don't -need- them to do what I do, so I just use $1 brushes instead

Out of all the minis you have done this is my least favorite. The end result is very dull looking. the gold looks like dark yellow and the robe is a streaky mess. Not sure why you went this way since blue steel is so easy to do with silver and a blue wash and I have seen you do lots of great red clothes in the past.
