Any eagle-eyed viewers noticed that I accidentally left off the Grav Cannon? I want to say that was intentional, but it was totally an accident. I had to make this video super fast, and mistakes happen! D'oh. I think the on/off buttons would have looked good with green and red. After watching all your Blackstone fortress tutorial videos since the start, I've finally got round to buying the set.... and the dreaded ambull.... and traitor command. The speed painting tips are going to come in handy.

there is a reason why i do all the base coating on a model first, so if I'm doing chevrons or other detail work i can go back over errors with more base paint without having to build the colour again.

Gorgeous. Only thing ida done instead was the "on/off" button, id make one green. Haha. Red/green complimentary, and ur justification for ot could be the red tied in with the warm of the yellow armor, and the green ties in with the cool of the skin. Course id just say, "cause it's my damn model and ill paint em however i damn well please!" May have to do up a hot pink orc or space marine sometime haha.

I bought blackstone fortress because it looked really cool, but it was good value for money ($4.7 aus per model). The first two expansions seem really expensive for what you get this one seems like better value for your buck.

Yeah, the thing is they are quite expensive if you're just thinking about getting the models, but you do get a decent amount more "game" in the boxes too.

It's entirely possible to use a pencil to do the first lines for the Chevron on his power claw. Easier that way and it rubs off too.

Seeking help with a paint scheme. I'm wanting to paint Nighthaunt up at the moment without following the typical colour scheme and instead want to go with Royal purple from Vallejo instead but thin it to have the same sort of consistency as Nighthaunt Gloom. Any ideas how I can achieve this?

You could probably mix it with either generic acrylic medium and a little bit of flow improver/dish soap and create your own wash, or maybe try the new Contrast medium. Royal Purple is the business though, I love it.
