That's the type of washer I wanted. My husband wanted an energy saver. I hate it. Can't stop the load for soaking. Can't open the lid or the water stops. The lid locks during the rince cycle. I just want my old washer back. 😢

you should buy a front load washer, use the half amount of detergent and save the 70 for cento of energy and cost in washer and in dryer too considering that they came out dumb if you use maximum spin speed like we use to do here in europe, welcome to the future america.

I bought a 1950s Maytag wringer washer for 100 bucks to use when our Whirlpool non agitator pole top load washer goes out all the time. It never gets our clothes clean unless you put it on the deep water cycle, and even then it's not as good as the old fashioned Maytag. That and your lucky if it even completes a full wash cycle without stopping half way through because the PC board is always malfunctioning. Never again will I buy a modern style washer!

How is it wasteful? You can use the water to water your garden. Just make sure the soap you’re using won’t cause any issues if your pets drink it or when it’s soaked into the ground.

@@DustyHoney In Europe washing machines don't have separate drainage and drain water goes directly to sewage. It is possible to connect it to a garden tank but that is very uncommon in european houses. Also you can't implement such a system in an apartment building .
