Speed Ramps in Lightworks 2022

Thank you!! I am working on a short project right now, was ready to publish it but then noticed a 'skip' where I had sped up a segment to 175% then back to 100%. I will try this method to ramp down and see if that smooths it out!

Okay, so I played around with ramping down to smooth out the skip between the 175% and 100% clips, but now believe that the speed itself caused the loss of a couple of frames in the transition due to the frame rate. I ended up simply lengthening the 175% clip by a couple frames and it smoothed out nicely. But I WILL make use of this speed ramp method in other projects. I love it!!

Is there a way to lock tracks? I seem to always bump track items around and screw up my work. Is there a way to lock tracks to prevent that?

I would imagine this comment will go unnoticed but I have an issue in lightworks that I can't seem to find anywhere. For example, I have a video and I put text over the video, but I also want to put a blur effect over the text. The issue I run into is that it adds the blur effect to everything below it, including the video. I've messed around with the roughting and no orientation works. It either blurs my text and video, or blurs my video but not text ( Depending on orientation of the blur effect) It's a little discouraging because it seems like such a basic editing feature. If anyone sees this and knows what I am doing wrong, please let me know, thanks!
