Speed Running the Arrma Infraction is FRUSTRATING!

2 years ago I was able to get 114mph out of my Limitless with a 1650kv motor, 34p39s, hoovoo 8s batts on stock tires. I had lots of throttle left but it got very squirrelly and launched off the road. Never ran it since lol.

@tonym7800 My last time running my limitless resulted in a tire coming apart at 99mph, it could at least break 100, lol. It's about to be back on the road.

@tonym7800 with that gearing in the LV2 you should've been hitting that on 6S *with good lipos* Correct suspension & rake is key for anything over 100mph or she will start lifting on you

@@cacanjacowans540she didn’t lift. It was the back end that got loose. Real loose lol. Perfect pass springs all around cranked down and droop screws set for lots of rake. AVC was set at about 30% and that may have still been too much

I have an Infraction V1 today, with Castle MM8s 1717 1650kv 34t spool and 30t pinion, 116MPH all day long. Now; with that ESC you have and the stock motor with with 34t spool and the factory speed pinion 27t on 8s you should be able to hit 120mph, and on 6s around 98mph. That formula works

I love the Infraction. So much so that i have 2 blue bodied ones. I don't think I've once considered trying to see how fast they'll go. I've went pretty fast but 0-50 and drifting around endlessly is where they shine. I've seen other videos where they identify as airplanes once you get north of 100. I'm looking forward to seeing how fast you can go.

@boduke9428 I really just want to break 100 with it, I have a limitless and vendetta that I use for speed runs. The infraction is one of my favorite on-road cars, I could see myself getting another one someday 😁

Robinson Racing 26p40s spur & pinion fits absolutely fine. I currently have it in my Infraction *w/8S ESC* Dunno why your 27p42p wouldn't reach 🤔

I have a Robinson Racing 40t spur, not sure why but it wouldn't make contact. I'll play with some more combinations.

I noticed your steering rates are pretty high after bringing it in. Try around 25% and see how it handles. Much more forgiving when that twitch response hits 👍

Hang in there. I'm 58 and just got into speed running a Arma limitless. Oh dam I've wrecked it three times out of fifty runs. I had to slow steering down and hit a personal beat of 133 mph with a 1650KV and a max 5 esc. But dam wrecking sucks. So I bought another and did a different set up 2400kv with a xlx2 esc. I've reached 122 mph but slowly trying. Bought a bunch of replacement splitters and wings till I get better. Oh well fun hobby. 👍 The Jim Carrey part was hilarious tho.

@richbon9904 I didn't expect to get into speed running, but man, it's addicting! My limitless had a tire fail at 99mph, couldn't even break 100 first.. I'm slowly building up a small inventory of parts. I'm still have fun with all of it.

Try castle system 8s I would recommend use the droop screws in front for the rear shocks I would screw them them all the way down n if you want to you can put a wheelie bar because armma infractions is unknown arrma flips over around 100mph

Stick with it bud but mamba x8 s or xlx2 1727 castle grp s springs are a good choice but make sure your suspension is set up H and w racing channel

..... too much gearing. You're way too tall for that KV honestly. 27p34s or 27p39s will both hit 100mph on the 6S motor with a 8S ESC & quality lipos

@superrocketRC here's the tea for 100mph ... 6S Typhon *27p34s* 6S Infraction *27p46s* w/8S ESC Limitless V2 *32p39s* w/8S electronics. All three will need quality lipos & good tires for successful passes. New stock hoons will get you about 2-3 passes TOPS but that's about it.... *GOOD LUCK* 🤞🏽
