I have a V1 with a simple setup Castle MM8s 1717 motor, CNHL 5200mah and nothing else, and it’s pushing 124mph, these trucks are easy to make them go fast. Cool video, both of them look great 👍

@ I have the same combo on my Felony and my Typhon besides the Infraction, it’s awesome but I really don’t do any bashing, only speed runs, but I believe if I change gears I could do some of that. One thing for sure the Castle stuff seems to have a lot of torque 👍

@memphysmoto2649 This is my first time with Castle products. Going through the datalogs is a whole new thing to. I'm interested in trying some of their other power units, I don't have the first hand experience, so I ask the people that do.

How similar is the gear ratios?

@carscoffee5263 Not similar. The silver truck is 36T Spur, 42T pinion. The blue truck is 40T spur and 30T pinion.

Got faster with 6s system

@@johnmassey7158 I went with the 8S system because the 6S ESE would keep cutting. I have a plan to put the 6S motor back in and run it on the 8S ESC.

@johnmassey7158 But the upside to this 8S system and gearing is I can also bash with it. Did 4 passes and drifted around the parking lot, and the motor or ESC never got hot.
