Al, you have much more aim control and spin knowledge than I do. Well played! This was really helpful. Thanks.

Thanks Al. That's the deal, speed, spin and cut all matter and learning on what effect they produce just becomes easier in time.❤

I find the spin and speed are equals when trying to get maximum change to the natural angle. The hard hit shortens a lot but less effect happens from the spin transfer, on the other hand a soft hit with extreme spin allows the gearing to maximize. Each one serves a purpose on where you want the cue ball to land.

Yep, absolutely. And there's also Cut-Induced-Spin (CIT) which is a major factor, especially at firm paces on bank angles greater than 10° These banks were mostly impossible banks without applied English. Hitting banks firm shortens the angle because of rail Compression. But, this also depends on how steep the cut Angle is. When hitting 1/16 of the object requires a harder hit, but yet does not compress rail because only a small portion of CB velocity is transferred to the ob. So there's lots of factors.
