I just feel the ergonomics of the G5 are, well, THERE as opposed to GAN's flat n featureless bar. Might be fun to use in conjunction with the CubeStation app and the smart cube/robot though

The gen 5 timer is TRASH for its price They pulled a GAN one on us Increase price and remove features

Hi! Can you explain why would someone use the timer combined with the smart cube? Since the smart cube already tracks the time I don’t see why use both. Thank you

Because u wanted because u use smart cubes u automatically start and stop but people that wanted to buy smart cube is to improve their time but because of the smart cubes u easily stop the timer so they want this timer to solve that problem and also money and this is too over complicated soo if you dont get it idk how to explain it

Some people would like to get used to competitions so they would practice with this. Also the app tells you the time for you to pick up the cube and drop it, and with this information, people could see what to improve on.

Zooming in on the product page, it looks like USB-C, not Micro-USB. Unless they used a rounded port for a Micro-USB plug which I've never seen before. I'm hoping this is the case (USB-C) because for them to release a product in 2022 or later with Micro-USB is inexcusable for the price point.
