I think you made the right choice. I really like the new gauges. While DD is pretty awesome and they make great products, their prices are too high. I can't justify paying that kind of money for a speedometer that glows in the dark.

That other gauge you have had more features. Auto light dim and low-high oil pressure warnings. Although over time the leds tend to go out. Also they do fog up. The newer one looks better looking. Anolog gauges always look better to me. Thanks for sharing by the way. Larry

This bike is going to be sweet except for handlebars.. I put ape hangers on my street glide and will never ride without a set on a bike. If you put a set on that matches your arm length and shoulder height you will be in heaven

I just purchased the Dakota for my 02 Fatboy. This one is supposed to be specific to my bike. However, after disassembling the dash and removing the original speedometer, I noticed the plug and plays are completely different. This means I have to rewire the plug and play. Unfortunately I am unsure which wires are which. Can you offer some help?

Do the Dakota gauges fog up like the original H-D speedometer does. I bought a 2018 FLHCS and the digital part of the gauge fogs up every time I ride it.

You can set the mileage on it manually but have to do it within 100 miles.
