Speeding ticket given in wrong driver's name

well computers arent always 1000% perfect glitches happen .... glad both tickets got voided .... But The officer should of looked at the 2nd ticket to make sure the Info was even right before handing it over

They most likely tried to help you guys by dropping the official speed to just below the cut off for an astronomical ticket. You probably missed this, and then proceeded to expose the officer on the local news channel.

I had a similar issue with a MA statie. Threw the ticket at me and half the info was wrong. Wrong make, model and color. I don’t get how that happens, they have the registration in their hand, they are looking at the car, how do they mess it up so completely? Mine was a handwritten ticket, so the cop had to write this all out himself and still got it so wrong.
