Everytime a good sketch got deleted i lost a piece of my soul

All the things you drew were amazing. The second piece was so beautiful that I literally watched, slack jawed in awe and tears welling in my eyes. The feeling you evoked with your lines and shape understanding just spoke to me so deeply that I was truly moved.

Is it alright if you tell me how you did the glitchy effect? I'm not struggling with any effects or anything, but it seems like a nice way to touch up things and express the mood better.

If you draw traditionally I recommend switching from pencil to pen! It might be hard to initially figure out of to "sketch" with pens, but it practically forces you to plan ahead before putting down lines, and makes you rely less on an eraser. But otherwise there is no exact short-cut I know of, I've been drawing digitally for 6 years, and it's only in the last 2 that I've really gotten productive. Otherwise, try figure/gesture drawing, or doing specific exercices, like drawing a specific thing for 10 minutes, then re-draw the same thing this time in 8 minutes, 4 min, 2 min, then 30 sec. Stuff like that. Sketching for me used to be "constructing every shape and volume", now it's simply "getting the general proportion and movement right" with lines only suggesting where what is. But there are still days where things simply don't seem to work, and I'll have to actually construct those shapes before adding any details,, art goes up and down and growth isn't something stable :'I Don't worry too much if you don't see any improvement, it can take months until you get one of those "clicking" experience and look back to your old art to see growth.

I-.... I'm sorry but I'm not that deep :'0 the title is taken from combining the 2 names of the songs I used for this video Maybe the second one is about being judged prematurely, hence the red streak across the neck, and the halo ready to choke, Idk man???

Do you draw a bunch of sketches until you figure out which one you like/ feel you can work off of?
@Remarin7 жыл бұрын
This time it was more about warming up than finding something to work on, when I simply don't feel like concentrating on anything, doing random doodles with the intention of spending minimal time/effort on each one lets you loosen up a bit. Though sometimes when I don't know what exactly I want a specific concept to look like, I'll draw different poses and variation of that idea,, more often than not, I'll end up picking the first sketch I came up with anyway, even after an hour of trial and error :'I

WHAT DO YOU USE TO MAKE THE SPEEDPAINT?
@Remarin7 жыл бұрын
I draw in Photoshop elements.10, I record the process using Quick time player, and you can use any video editing software that let's you speed up footage to make the video. I use Final Cut Pro, but I've gotten it from my Dad (it's quite expensive, and I would never be paying that much for a program that I only use for speedpaints, so I recommend looking for cheaper alternatives x: )

Okay I downloaded a similar one called Adobe illustrator

I have 3 dinA4 sketchbooks and like 6 dinA5 (small journals) but then I also have a whole box filled with loose papers, since I used to draw on copy papers for the first year or two. But I'm mostly a digital artist nowadays

Are not you tired of writing a second speedpaint in such a short time?
@Remarin7 жыл бұрын
The first entire part up till the 4:55 mark was actually recorded yesterday,, and dude, give me cool sounding new music and I'll draw without even realizing that I haven't eaten dinner yet ;D making a video simply requires some extra button presses and a bit of waiting when saving and uploading the video.
