I absolutely love how much detail you put into the lineart and colour. Things that would never cross my mind like making the string in the bracelet fade into the sea glass. But I have to know, you seem to do very minimal shading. With how much detail you put into library and colour you barely need it, but, I would still be curious to know if you ever had or ever will make something with more detailed shading. Or, a digital painting? Not criticism just curious. Loved this!

I'm happy you noticed! I've attempted more detailed ways of coloring and shading before, only to find that it alters the "feel" of the drawing. Not like it's something I just need to work on being able to replicate it, but the plain colors and minimal shading gives the drawings a sort of clarity I have a lot of control over, I can decide which parts of the drawing draw more attention than the others all while making the detail in the lineart keep the purpose I've put in it. I hope this makes sense ahah, I always find it kind of hard to explain my reasoning behind my choices! It's still just a preference however, I can definitely appreciate detailed coloring styles like Kawocy as well, and might attempt something more ambitious in the future again :'D
