My one regret with my C7 was not getting museum delivery. If I get a C8 I will definitely do it. Seeing your car vs. the torch red vert I think the yellow was a good idea, the contrasting calipers & stitching give the car some character.

I can't believe Austin is driving all the way back. While I considered this, I thought varying RPM would be problematic. I dread letting it sit in a hotel parking lot overnight. @@richardmorris7063 I only had less than 500 from where I purchased. Had to keep it in manual mode, while periodically going up one or two gears, then back down one or two gears. Just back n forth all the way back. Not every minute, but always aware of it. I live with cruise control, so that's just me. Yeah, parking it over night? With those wheels? Maybe he will sleep in it! 😀

SP!! There’s nothing like a Museum Delivery of Corvette. Did ours last Nov 28th. 684 Days from order to delivery… felt like years but have had so much fun with the Ray! Enjoy your ride home. Going through Georgia we pull off on Hwy 35 (?) a windy twister through the hills of N Georgia…. What a great driving experience! Great Post!!

Very nice to see them go through the car with you. Not all dealers do this, just sign here and go lol. This is great customer service skills ! My wife did her research before buying me a corvette for my birthday. She wanted some one like this guy to go through the car with first so I did crash lol on my way home. Only certain dealers are this fabulous with their delivery. Very good to see this kind of service given, money cannot buy honesty, care that this guy is giving Austin 👍🏻 Chevy worked very nice with us as well as Mercedes did when we bought a Crossfire from them. I am a disabled Veteran and these two companies took very good care of us on our two cars ! Our neighbor bought a fancy European car, they showed them just enough to get them off the lot and home lol. Then they were lost for almost 3 days trying to figure out their new car, not us !! This is why customer service like this is priceless!! 👍🏻 Great video from Austin and Chevrolet 😀

Takes me back to when I picked up my first Porsche when I was still in my youth. The salesman was younger than me and knew even less about the car than I did. Lol. First thing I did was take my father for a ride. He already had dementia at that point but could still get around and put on his own seat belt. I must have driven more that first week than any other month that year. I drove everywhere. You might have nicer cars later but you'll never replicate the feeling of being young in your first modern sports car.
