Speedrunning the Half-Life and Portal Games, Back-to-Back (World Record)

Just to clarify something quickly for those commenting "what about 'x' game?" Half-Life, Half-Life 2, Portal, and Portal 2, are the MOST POPULAR speedrun games released by valve, hence why I included them in this challenge run, these games also have a lot of similarities as a speedrun. Half-Life Opposing Force, Blue Shift, and Half-life 2 ep1 and ep2 are not included as they are not as popular games/speedruns. Half-Life: Alyx is not included because I do not own a VR headset and I am literally unable to play the game. Apologizes if the title is a little clickbait-y in that regard. I may attempt a variant of this run again in the future, but for the time being please enjoy this speedrun for what its worth :)

Aye Msushi, quick tip for HL1, you can run faster if you hold a strafe key against a wall. this is most useful in "On A Rail" Edit: just realized you already knew this lmao, your lack of usage in on a rail is what made me comment originally

around 5:50, imo, a fish is way more effort than something like a hamster for example which are super easy to me buuuut ive also dealt with them a whole lot more for most of my life so maybe thats just easy for me to say- i know u probs dont actually care but after my own experiences, its kinda interesting: and this is specifically if you want said fish to have the best quality life. even a Betta fish- which youd most likely have completely alone unless you got tetras or snails or something for it, would need at least 5 gallons to be fully happy. at least. and you SHOULD give it more, people say around 10 gallons is best suitable for them. A singular fish. And that would need water changes every other week, trimmings and care dealt to the aqua plants you give it, as well as nutrients and adequate lighting for the plants to thrive at all- shelter and little hidey holes for the fish, no plastic plants because that'll only damage their fins. Treatment if the fish gets sick / finrot. do you think a goldfish would be more simple? well think again because while bettas need *at least* 5 gallons but prefer 10, a goldfish should have at least 10 gallons and prefer 15-20. these babies are supposed to get real big, and are one of the most mistreated fish in the world because theyre sold as such a simple pet when theyre just not in the end, the reason fish are actually more complicated than rodents, in my own opinion at least, is because water is a whole different story to deal with long term than some fluffy piss-ridden bedding- and while that should be an obvious statement, its not something you actually think about until you're in that situation-- btw nice speedrun.
