My mom died in May because of heart problems. My entire life I thought that I wouldn't be able to live without her. But, when she died, I understood that I can. I can keep on living. I miss her dearly, but, at the same time - life still goes on. There are still countless reasons for joy, for happiness. And they'll never truly leave us. My mom, your dad, whoever else who dies in the future. They transition into the lightest, the happiest state there is. And they still will be with us. In our dreams, and even outside of them. When you feel familiar smell that shouldn't be there, when you find something long lost, a small little toy or a trinket, filled with memories, or when you experience anything related to them - it's them saying "hello" to us. If only we knew, how happy they are, we would never be sad about their death. And they will always want to see us smiling, filled with joy and happiness, not with grief and sorrow. Of course, it can sound like a bunch of nonsense to you. But that's what I sincerely believe in. And tomatoanus is right - it does get better. Feelings do pass. You will get through this. Sending hugs and support, my friend. Everything will get better, there's just no other way ❤

I just wanted to say that I really think you've nailed (no pun intended) the "UI" of your videos, so to speak. There's a lot of information on-screen, but it's all presented in a clear, understandable way that is enjoyable to look at. I put a whiteboard next to my desk when finishing mine, showing chapters and word count. All I needed was one novel idea per chapter and 500 words a day. Every day, marked it off and, once I’d made the plan, ignored the big picture just focused on each day’s small goal. Was certain I was fucked but made it. Remember it’s not your supervisor who decides but the reviewer, get a thesis submitted and in their hands and let it play out however it does. Good luck.

This is a great video, just the right amount of explanation that kept pace with the run. Except for very short runs that don't have much time for talking, I suggest doing basic explanations of things and saving the interesting but detail heavy further mechanics for after the run.
