The B&M pan comes with same bolt and washers. B&M gasket is cheap cork, that gasket you got looks way way better. I bought longer #10 bolt and nut set from home Depot got them longer and I used star lock washers and I used flat washer on the top filter side and on the underside with added star lock washers. The filter is easy to replace. I got mine from my auto parts store near by. 1962 Chrysler 727 transmission. The filter that came with the B&M filter looks to be cheap quality and made in Taiwan. I paid 255 for my kit with tax. Looks like you made a good buy. I feel like I should of gotten the speed master brand, I'd have to just get over the bad reputation the had when they were named procomp. I plan on threading the filter holes next time I have to change the filter.

I’ve had both B&m and speedmaster pans. They see to be just the same. I’ve had like 10 speedmaster ones and only had one that had a leak. It had a casting flaw where it leaked from where they machines it. I called jegs and they swapped it for me no problem. The problem is when you buy all your parts over time and when you put it together and find a problem. More than likely your past the return date. I kinda prefer the cork gasket but there is quality of cork gasket too the thick blue one that comes with the pan I have never used. It just doesn’t feel right when you tighten it.
