Just came from a Goodguys car show and saw a lot of these but nobody to answer my questions. Thanks for sharing. One fellow was trying to sell me his car mentioned that he absolutely couldn't stand the howling when going long distance. IMHO Hot Rodding is all about compromise.

its not bad when its behind you at the back...the howling is MUCH worse from a model T or A trans by far and they arent bad at all

Straight cuts and Gear drives. One mans noise is another mans music.

The noise is one of the cool things about them. Like the M22 4 speed, or a blower.

Can you get the LSD or Truetrac units for them anymore?
@TheMdt19705 жыл бұрын
not true - " all brakes that fit a Ford 9 inch will fit the Winter's quick change." The '40 Ford drum kit you sell doesn't fit. not able to accept the 3.5" x 3.5" mounting plate.

Nice video of the side of this guy's head. I hate people who don't look at you when they talk to you.

I have a car that's about 900 horsepower and I drive it daily if I switch to a quick change rear end can I still drive it on the freeway and use my car as a daily driver still
@moro11126 жыл бұрын
Yolanda Thomas it would probably be better. You can change the gearing to suit your needs. Change the gears for everyday driving and better mpgs then switch it at the track to get that crazy acceleration. I would buy this if I needed it.

Is there any way these can fit on a 1987 monte carlo ss?
@kensnyder9372 Жыл бұрын
Yes , measure your track width , 4.86 or a 4.12 R&P and if you want a locker and axle bolt circle and they will have one for you or go to York PA. and pick it up and they will be happy to give you a plant tour ............Of course you will have to weld your own brackets on the tubes .............

A 9" is way too much for a '29 ford! That diff is for heavy cars.
@Shadow0fd3ath243 жыл бұрын
Right lol even a stock ford rear end from like 1932 will handle an easy 200hp on stock tires. Ive seen sticky 235s and about a 110hp flathead in one and it take a beating
