I have taught myself to sharpen convex beauty shears. Even with nicks on the blade. A really light touch. De-burr the flat side with the flesh side of a leather strop. Strop the edge on a flesh side leather until the drag goes away then finish on the finished leather side. I don't use compound. I have and use a flat hone when I charge. But it proves to keyboard warriors ir can be done.
