We give thanks to the dark gods of EUC, with our sacrifice of youthful bodies, praying for safety... the gods silent and promising nothing. We thank the youth, Harry, for their sacrifice... our surrogate in WONDER and TERROR! (All the best Harry! Your perspective was a helpful addition to the channel)

Funny and great video ! Especially at 21:11, I feel most of YT reviews lack this "beginner/amateur" perspective as the majority of people don’t ride multiple wheels or have 10000 miles done on EUCs… most of beginners (some) will check reviews and read critiques on FB EUC pages but overall, it’s difficult to get that newbie perspective, the challenges encountered that a pro won’t. Really appreciated this video 😊 !

You flailed around like a harpooned walrus in the beginning! I wish that I was even to that point. I just got a V10F yesterday and numerous crashes, cuts and bruises to show for it. The light at the end of the tunnel is seeing that there is a possibility of progress. I feel the exact feeling when you placed your weak foot on the pedal in complete confidence and the darn thing shooting in some random direction! Crash after crash, I know that it can only get better. Thankfully this thing is a tank so far and has a cover. :) Good luck in university!

@@Speedyfeetuk Three weeks or so in and only 25 miles. Many injuries but not giving up. It is definitely helping my core and back and leg strength. I made my first burger run (5 miles total) and only crashed once with a constant chant of “PLEASE DON’T KILL ME”. I am excited for the day I feel comfortable riding but im not in a rush, rather have a goal to commute to work. No time limits but in progressing daily. I’ll check out the website!

All the best for the future Harry... are you going to keep riding or is that it? Hopefully Ian will let you take one that you didn't break? haha... where to next? What are you studying? What do you want to do 'when you grow up?' haha

Doing terrible things to a Ninebot one E+, that wheels a classic, don't break it :-) I sure they will miss you, you will need a KZbin channel of your own, no doubt you will continue riding. Best of luck with your future endeavours. Love your crashes, you seem to seek out things to bump into :-) At least you bounce, at 64 it starts to hurt a bit more. It is valuable for people to see how new riders get on with these wheels, there are always lots of video of people killing it. The deer crossing your path was cool.

This ex-paratrooper critiques your method of falling. Learn to keep your hands and elbows tucked around your head, arch your back and round your shoulders. Take the impact along your legs, bum and rounded back, if you can imagine such a fall. Do not attempt to break your fall with your hand; you will sustain permanent damage to your wrist.
