Pretty nifty. From the video though it doesn't look like the second hand hits the indices very accurately. Is that just the camera angle? Seems like that would undermine the accuracy of the pulsometer.

Most of it is the angle, they are all pretty close, but not all on the dot either.

I'm looking for a gift for my niece. She's. a recent graduate and will staring a job at a children's hospital. This is going to sound like a dmv question but do some hospitals not allow nurses to wear watches?

There are quite a few different types of watches for health care professional. They also have watches that hang off of front pockets. You would need to take off watches for certain parts of the hospital like the MRI etc
