Why do we need the app if the transmitter has "forward programming?"

So are all the functions usually adjusted in the TX being handled by the RX now via this app?
@jimdeangelo97443 жыл бұрын
In the end one of our club experts did all of this on my NX10 with the model I wanted it in. There was no programming of the RX needed. The AR636B does not seam to have forward programming, however, all the changes in the NX10 model seems to do the trick. So for me as a beginner I'd like some clarification around is it better to program the RX or to do it all on the TX? Is this just preference? What's the plus' and minus' of doing it either way?

The Audio Cable doesn't work with the AS3X AR635?
@jimdeangelo97444 жыл бұрын
Does the Android app work the same/as well as the IOS app? I have a Galaxy Note 10 which utilized the USB-C connection for both power and audio, should I expect that to work if I have an adapter from USB-C to standard USB for connecting to the programming cable?

you can use a USB-C OTG cable to the Spektrum USB programmer cable SPMA3065 OR you can use the BT1000 bluetooth module. Hope that helps!

@@SpektrumRCvideos I have an Samsung USB-C to Standard USB adapter and that doesn't work. The circular arrows at top right of screen has a line through it. I don't see the BT1000 bluetooth module on HH site. Besides the AS3X Programmer App I've tried using the Spektrum Programmer - Beta however it doesn't have the ability to deal with the flap in wing setup to accommodate my Timber X. Is there a website based tool available? I see this mentioned in a question below but have never seen it.

@@SpektrumRCvideos Either way, it's one more adapter. Each step seems to be, oh, you need one more thing. I'm probably going to purchase an NX transmitter for a number of other reasons. I'm told I can then use the TX to do everything I need to do in it and not need to program the RX, or possibly even program the RX from the TX, is this true?

In the initial set up window I don't see an option for dx6i. Do I select dx6 instead?

Funny, my app connects to the receiver then crashes. Typical for Spektrum to release before the bugs are worked out. Love my DX9 but the new line of components seem to be a beta version that’s not ready for prime time. The 6110 is just a plain ol receiver without being able to use the software settings.

Hi Jeff, are you saying you are trying to use the app with an AR6110? If that is the case it will not work. This app is only for AR636 and AR6335 AS3X receivers.

Does this app work with the apprentice 15e receiver which is not a specktrum receiver but an E-Flite. The receiver is model efl3100013 and has SAFE envelope.As I have connected the cable from my lap top to the receiver and nothing happens.
@SpektrumRCvideos7 жыл бұрын
Hi Jeff. The receiver that comes with the Apprentice S 15e does NOT work with this app. It is not programmable in any way.
@jeffmccallumsr.15327 жыл бұрын
Thanks but, How is it then when they sell the Apprentice it comes with that receiver and the DXe transmitter?

Jeff McCallum Sr. It is a rtf ready to fly. Comes with a Transmitter and receiver.

SAFE and AS3X are two different things
@jeffmccallumsr.15327 жыл бұрын
Yes they are. They sell the apprentice RTF with the safe receiver( efl3100013) and the DSe Transmitter. It comes RTF. It used to come with the DXe transmitter but they changed transmitters. I have the old radio it came with but it is broken. Now I want to buy the DSe transmitter and bind it too my apprentice just as they are doing. Do you follow? I went too the hobby shop, opened up the apprentice RTF and looked at the RECEIVER and it is the exact same one I have. Common sense would tell you that if they sell it together I should be able to buy the DXe and fly it with the receiver (efl3100013). Right?
