Just got my program card for my new spectrum 2 in 1 2300kv brushless system. I have been really enjoying it's great low speed control along with a decent top end and tons of power! I will definitely being buying more of the 2 in 1 brushless systems for some of my other crawlers!

4:40 When I plug in the programmer V2 into the computer, the updater can’t see it. All the drop-downs are blank, the screen on the programmer says “connecting ESC”

100%%% IMPORTANT!! To anyone having issues with updating the program box. Make sure you are drapping the "unzipped" file to your desktop, then unzip it. Otherwise, for some reason, it will not show the newer versions if you unzip it in the Downloads folder.

i have the latest version but there is no lipo voltage cutoff adjustment like hobbywing program cards have for their esc's, or dose the spektrum card not have that ability full stop?

Spektrum should make this programmer box (like the transmitters) so that you just have to download the update file to a flash drive, and then put the flash drive with the update into the programmer box, and then update both the box or ESC. That way its not dependent on a third party OS.

I bought the new spektrum smart esc for my car, but this spektrum smart esc programmer v2 box wont connect to the new esc.. and using this program wont update to a new version to see my new esc too.. damn hope ill find a new update else its so useless..

I did the newest update. Now my speed on the spectrum dashboard. Always says. 35 mph. Meanwhile the cars going well above 140 mph. Then the stock 100amp Esc. Keeps hitting LVC It’s driving me mad. The newest update. 5.02. You’re able to lower the LVC. It still hits LVC prematurely. Anyway to disable this feature?

I have the SPMXCA200 that will not connect to my BLX100 in my Granite but has no problem connecting to my Spektrum Firma 150a in my Talion EXB. I checked to make sure it was on the latest firmware.

What bugs? I have had one since the day they came in stock and HH shipped mine and I have right now 193:50 Hours on time. I have flown over 20 different models with it, airplanes, helicopters. it has been a Flawless TX. Love mine. I know at least 3 others with them also no issues at all. Be sure to turn off the roller sound when you first get it. its annoying and has a pop sound sometimes if you don't turn it off.

Looks like I need to add this(also updating the ESC and flight controller) to my todo list. My Avain 100A ESC never worked right, out of the box. The governor never worked but far worse the “soft” start has always been sketchy. Occasionally it works correctly but lemme tell ya, its quite exciting to have the ESC try to start swinging a 1+ meter rotor disc full bore from a dead stop. Bad enough when that bugger does a pirouette on the ground. But if th skid digs in/catches she’ll flop over on her side and those blades really don’t like trying to swing through dirt. 🤦🏻‍♂️ anyway..bla bla bla…. Cool vid! Dankeshe A round of updates on me! 😏

Unfortunately they do not function fully. Sometimes you will be able to change some settings, depending on the esc and firmware, but your best bet is to get the Spektrum programmer for Spektrum ESCs

I just bought one a month ago have it all set up ready to fly but but my programmer box is not connecting to the firmware so I can set up my Governor mode at this point it's just sitting there and not working collecting dust it's a good way to waste over $1,000 and you better make sure you have a Windows base laptop. It seems a lot of people have been having the same problem.

These programming boxes are supposed to read your lipo battery packs, as well as make connections to your ESCs, however, my unit doesn't seem to register any batteries when I plug in the balance lead. Is there some trick to get these things to register batteries?

Mine was reading the cells perfect and now it's reading three and four way out of whack only one and two are right and when I plug the battery into my charger they're all the same so yep useless to be a battery checker

This does not work on my infraction 3s blx! I have tried Windows 10 and 11. Several times. I have deleted and re-done the download. Tried with the esc connected and disconnected. Powered up and down. I can change the existing settings, but i am wanting to update the firmware on both card and car as my car goes into thermal cut-off far too soon. Even before a 5000 mah pack is even anywhere near being down to a low voltage. This car is so mu h fun to drive, but i am frustrated that i have purchased the correct product from you and i can get it to work. I ( and all the other people having problems with this! ) would be very interested in a solution. Cheers Andy Grant

Are you using the link in this Document? Seems to be working fine on our end. Just FYI the app ONLY works on a laptop. I went nuts trying to figure out why it wasn't working ony desktop, lone behold I installed the app on my laptop and it worked instantly.

That should not be the case. Likely it is a setting in Windows that is not allowing the drivers to be installed. Try running the app as an administrator.

@72voltz17 after hours of playing with it I found you need to use a separate app or program to "unzip" the file before use. If you use the windows one it doesn't work! I confirmed this after speaking with someone at a Hobby shop in the UK.

@72voltz17 ok then try to use thr windows extraction button . For me I also used winzip and had it go threw. The guy at the hobby store said some have luck using windows some with separate app such as myself. Definitely a little time consuming but the additional features I was able to install in my ESCs was worth it. Good luck👍

Need to do a video about this programer with an actual RC car so everyone can understand how to use the settings and no don't do it with just only a esc and motor and a servo show it with a RC car or truck or show it with all different ones at least is my only opinion

No other brand requires a card, AND a computer, AND a Windows only, (no Mac! )to program an ESC. All other ESC' require a card and one can make changes on the go.
