How to use the Spektrum smart programmer.

Looking for help. Recently upgraded a typhon mega to brushless. Spektrum 3300kv motor/esc. I had to switch 2 wires because forward and reverse were switched on the controller(instructions said to do this). I only run on 2s(gen ace bashing battery) at 75% for my kids. We get about 5 mins run time and it shuts off as if it overheated. Turn it off then back on and run it for another 5 mins. Fans on esc not motor and neither feel hot. Does it in cool weather also. I was told that this programmer can help but watching the video I’m not sure how it would? Any help would be appreciated. I also have the stock controller and don’t want to upgrade.

The only reason you would need this is if you where programing a smart ESC. A transmitter will not require it.

It is a male to male extension some times known as a patch cable. Horizon has a couple including EFLG613 and SPMA3043

Pretty sure the exhaust pipes are to be mounted under the hood poking threw. Kinda like the blower is.

Those pipes are mounted to the hood in the same way the turbos are in fact they use the same holes! I designed these in 3d and ran them on my 3d printer.

Save money and just modify settings by holding the set button :) I have the felony and Losi SBR 2.0 and you do not need these cards to make adjustments.

Double check to make sure you don't have the wires plugged in backward.

Try double checking the direction you have the cable plugged into. It is very easy to get it backwards.

I am not sure I fully understand your question. I assume your programing card doesn't show drag brake as an adjustable parameter? What ESC are you using?

Why does it skip some parameters? Mine skips #3 LVC cutoff

So what's the point of the manual for the esc is the programming shows the different parameters as different #s than the manual. Super confusing. I can adjust timing from the controller, but can't get to the same menu option if using esc to program manually. Starting to dislike firma/spektrum stuff.

Mine tells me to update the software. I use the PC program and make sure I have the latest version and it does. I try again and it says the same thing every time. Spectrum tech support tried to help me, but they couldn't say why it wasn't working either. I tried two different ones in two different Spectrum Firma Smart ECS from a Typhon 6S V5 and the Kraton 6S V5. No dice....I have an expensive voltage reader now....

150a firma esc are glitchy bro. its well known, and im sure they gone stop making them soon. Arma is sure to switch out to 160a esc on all thier 1:8 rtr.

Using the app, via the included USB cable, is much more user-friendly. The programmer isn't terribly intuitive, IMO. I ordered the Dashboard app, w/ BT2000 module and cellphone holder, which displays all the info on the RC systems, like RPM, MPH, current, voltage, motor temp plus you get access to all of the trim menus, eliminating the "hold steering wheel to full right, while holding the throttle . . . yada, yada."

@@javii5326 Yes. If you don't have your cell phone in the provided carrier, the bluetooth signal isn't strong enough to connect. Once you've successfully paired, it should re-connect when you open the app.

I have the same thing. Unfortunately the Android app is terrible and constantly drops connection (read the app reviews), or the app crashes on my OnePlus7Pro. The iPhone works much better, and doesn't drop as often, though the screen rotating at the slightest tilt is mildly annoying. In fact, when going into settings menu in the app the screen immediately flips over and stays and I end up holding my controller backwards.
