The arrangement at :42 and 1:46 is different. At :42 you can clearly hear the percussion track but at 1:46 the song is in a bit of a breakdown with just the main melody and no backing arrangement. That's why he's saying the theme starts at 1:46, since it's that part of the song that kicks off older Game Theory episodes.

The new one isn't the same, but in my experience, it's better. I've shown both versions to quite a few people who have no history with Game Theory, and they all prefer the new one. In other words, while I am sure there are some who legitimately prefer the original, I'd imagine most are just salty because there was change.

You turn around only to find more dancing pixels. The colors blend like paint. The movement of the light is almost hypnotic. You hold your breath to embrace this beauty... ...
