Patched: Backwear drop Addition methods that work: -Have a caveman hold a shotgun and trip on a rock to shoot it at the shopkeeper (Freeze Ray doesn't work) -Having a caveman pick up a metal shield and crush the shopkeeper -Having Yang shoot get mad in the black market and killing them -Using untamed rockdog you're not riding on to blow up bombs in a shop -Ghost blowing boomerang on top of shopkeeper -Attacking and immediately unmounting on turkey -Firing plasma blast and unmounting on alien mech

If a push trap pushes a bomb it will not aggro the shopkeeper Although very specific and weird, this could be really useful for when pushtraps make other methods really awkward

I had a case where I dropped a bomb next to a totem which then knocked it into shop and blew up the shopkeeper - weirdly it didn't blame me. I guess the totem knocking it removed the blame.

also if you have climing gloves and boomerang you can drop the boomerang on the shopkeeper and get no aggro (might not work in future patches)

I'm like 90% sure that was patched already but I don't think I actually tried with climbing gloves, though I don't see how that would be different from dropping it without them.

If you whip it, the game knows you touched it. When you have it on your back and drop it the game doesn't recognize that you are responsible since you never physically touched it and all the game's code is doing is giving the item gravity and momentum. However when you whip it, throw something or push it the game registers that you have touched the item and it will stay that way on that specific item until you leave the level. To put it simply, it's recognized like a rock falling naturally on top of his head or you throwing it directly at his face.
